Three Rivers Pastor’s came together in 1998-1999 to establish a way to help the elderly people in the community with there need food. It was decided that the end of month would better meet their needs. The churches involved in the beginning were as: Good Hope Baptist Church and Pastor Dave Darling, Three Rivers First Baptist Church and Pastor Bob Hobbins, First United Methodist church and Pastor Bill Duke, Oakville Baptist Church Pastor Tommy Stogner, Our Savior Lutheran Church and Pastor Craig Sturm & Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Pastor Dave Darling contacted the Pastors of all the churches in Three Rivers at the time. They wanted to give all Pastors an opportunity to share in helping their neighbors. During this time they were partnered with the Coastal Bend Food Bank for the groceries and with donations given from each church every month.

Working together with volunteers for partner churches and help from the community, the Three Rivers Pastor’s Fellowship was funded by faithful churches that wanted to help meet the needs of our elderly population. We now serve the needs of anyone the meet the guidelines form the Coastal Bend Food Bank.

Our Present location is the First Baptist Church in Three Rivers. Today our members of the Pastor’s Fellowship consist of Good Hope, Rivers of Life Worship Center, Oakville Baptist Church, Our Savior Lutheran Church & Faith Family Life Center.
